As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/ Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 05:00 PM - 03:45 AM - Tue 05:00 PM - 03:45 AM - Wed 05:00 PM - 03:45 AM - Thur 05:00 PM - 03:45 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with management as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter access points. Help to deter unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns in a timely manner. Monitor store activity and support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee movement, checking restricted areas, and reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns. Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Loss prevention experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
