This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned. Position Details:Location Mercy Hospital Southeast 1701 Lacey Street Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Hours/ Schedule. Part-Time (20-hrs per week)Food Service Department. Shift: TBD - Qualifications. Education: None. Licensure: Food Handler within 180 days. Experience: 2 or more years of food service experience preffered. Certifications: None. Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Excellent integrity Takes initiative Good moral character Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills Great interpersonal skills Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
