As a Security Officer Security Screening in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help support a busy logistics location by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics location. Screen associates, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering or exiting the location, including verifying credentials, checking approvals, and documenting activity as required. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, screening areas, and the perimeter, with work environments and conditions that may vary by location. Monitor cameras, communication systems, and screening equipment, and help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or other security-related issues. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
