The Paint Line Loader / Unloader is a valuable part of our process of creating high-quality commercial roofing accessory products in the Burgaw Plant. The Paint Line Loader / Unloader partners with other operators, the department lead, and the supervisor to establish and maintain an environment where safety, quality, service, and cost are the highest priorities. Essential Duties. Ability to load and unload material to the highline. Operates various simple one-step or one-process machines to manufacture ventilation or specialty products. Ensures that the work area has been set up to provide optimum safe work area and work?ow. Monitors quality of materials supplied and parts produced & recommends corrections as necessary. Responsible for keeping the supervisor informed of production problems, which could be material, machine, or personnel-related. Responsible for conformance of production with plant safety standards, quality, production, and e?ciency. Inspects equipment for operating e?ciency. Cleans and performs basic maintenance, and makes minor repairs or speci?ed operating adjustments to equipment. Cleans and maintains work areas per plant standards. Qualifications Required. H. S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required 3 months prior manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment. The employee must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Must be comfortable communicating across diverse teams.
