Provide technical support to engineers and project teams in the design and development of building electrical systems. Assist with the design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems for a variety of building types. Support development of construction documents, drawings, and specifications. Collect, compile, and analyze engineering data to support project execution and design decisions. Generate accurate and concise technical reports and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, structural, and architectural staff. Perform field observations and assist with site visits as needed. Ensure work is delivered in alignment with WSP quality standards and applicable codes and safety requirements. Who You Are. Required Qualifications. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline .–1 years of relevant internship or professional experience in electrical engineering or building systems design. Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and building systems. Exposure to AutoCAD and/or Revit. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications. Internship or co-op experience in consulting engineering or building design. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain. Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC). Interest in markets such as healthcare, commercial, higher education, or science & technology. WSP Benefits:
