As a Prototype Engineer, your work directly supports new product development and plays a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to market. You’ll operate at the intersection of hands-on engineering and product innovation, building and analyzing prototypes that influence design decisions and future production. Your insights will help improve manufacturability, reliability, and overall product quality. This is a role where your technical skills and curiosity truly matter. You’ll collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams to solve real-world challenges and continuously improve how products are built. What You’ll Be Doing Build and deliver high-quality compressor prototypes to support R&D and product validation, ensuring timely and reliable results Perform tear-down analysis on tested units and translate findings into clear reports that guide engineering improvements Design and create tools, fixtures, and assembly solutions that enable efficient prototype and low-volume builds Partner with cross-functional teams to improve design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/ DFA) in new product development Support manufacturing by troubleshooting processes, solving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience) with 3 years in product development or manufacturing Strong hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and disassembly, ideally in compressors or similar systems Proficiency in CAD tools for 3 D modeling and 2 D drawings Experience with DFM/ DFA principles and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes Ability to manage work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
