Include:Working in a cross-functional team that supports clinical trials testing new targeted anti-cancer drugs, by developing tailored companion diagnostic assays. Performing project-related research and/or development in collaboration with others to develop immunohistochemistry assays, in situ hybridization assays, and possibly molecular biology-based assays. Assisting in defining and designing the optimal development path for each product within our workflow. Leading development projects, as applicable, requiring coordination with other functions or suppliers. Carrying out technical design tasks which require use of planning and judgment. Solving technical design problems. Understanding and implementing our quality management system framework. Quality is our passion. Writing scientific protocols and reports. Carrying out experiments including planning, execution, quantitative data analysis and reporting. Making detailed observations, analyzing data and interpreting results. May participate in scientific conferences and contribute to scientific journals. Ensuring success through collaboration with your team. This position is Hybrid requiring at least 3 on-site days per week, with additional on-site days as needed based on company needs. Qualifications. BS/ BA or MA in Biology, Biochemistry or related field. Ability to follow Quality System regulations including Design Control. Experience with immunohistochemistry and microscopy 2 years of related laboratory experience. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and organizational skills. Analytical skills and creativity. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work both independently and within a team setting. Preferred Qualifications:Background in biology techniques including immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, fluorescent techniques, protein biochemistry; cell biology and molecular biology. Background in one or more of the following: tumor biology, immunology, and histology. Experience with assay/protocol development. Additional Details. This job has a full time weekly schedule.
