Month-end close journal entry, reconciliation, and report preparation - Daily reporting to cross-functional stakeholders - Daily internal control activity preparation and documentation - Weekly open purchase order review and spend forecasting - Participation in annual physical inventory - Ad-hoc financial and cost analysis - Support the Assistant Controller and Cost Accountant in various areas including cost savings, capital, and standard costing - Assist and collaborate with other departments to provide financial expertise in decision-making. Required Experience: - B. S. degree in Accounting or Finance - 2 – 3 years of experience in accounting, manufacturing experience a plus - Knowledge of GAAP accounting, automated accounting systems and SOX - Interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, and outside professionals - Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks and determine priorities - Strong computer/systems/ PC skills - Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills - ERP System experience, JDE E 1 a plus Other Compensation & Benefits:Mueller offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
