Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Wed 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM - Thur 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a public healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to verify entry permissions in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to visitors while addressing security-related concerns. Support emergency and medical response protocols by communicating with site personnel and/or first responders, helping with crowd management, access control, and incident-related follow-up. Minimum Requirements:1 years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
