Lead all structural steel erection activities on a major, complex project Oversee all field crews, foremen, and subcontractors involved in steel erection Manage daily field operations, sequencing, and manpower planning Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of all structural steel Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, fabricators, and general contractor Maintain schedule adherence and drive field productivity Resolve field issues quickly and effectively to avoid delays Enforce strict safety standards and ensure full compliance on site Serve as the primary field authority for all structural steel scope decisions Qualifications: Extensive experience in structural steel erection required Proven background leading large, complex, high-tonnage steel projects Strong understanding of erection sequencing, rigging, and field logistics Prior experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent preferred Ability to lead large crews on major commercial or industrial projects Willingness to travel extensively and remain on-site for extended durations Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills What We Offer: Competitive compensation (based on experience) Per diem and travel support for extended field assignments Bonus opportunities tied to project performance Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision) ESOP program 401(k) with company match PTO and paid vacation Opportunity to lead a flagship, high-profile structural steel project from start to finish Please reach out to me ASAP at mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for further information!
