Senior Preconstruction Manager- Commercial Construction

Lead all preconstruction and estimating efforts from conceptual budgeting through project turnover - Develop accurate conceptual and detailed estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project scope - Coordinate bid packages, subcontractor/vendor pricing, site visits, and proposal development - Partner closely with operations, project management, business development, clients, and subcontractors - Develop and maintain preconstruction schedules to support seamless project execution - Identify cost trends, value engineering opportunities, and process improvements - Provide leadership and mentorship to preconstruction team members - Support consistency across estimating and preconstruction deliverables Qualifications: - 10 years of commercial construction estimating and/or preconstruction experience - Strong background in conceptual estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination - Ability to read and interpret complex plans, specifications, and project documents - Proven leadership and mentoring experience - Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong understanding of construction operations and project financials Preferred Experience: - Commercial, mixed-use, retail, office, healthcare, industrial, or large-scale construction projects - Design-build or negotiated work experience preferred - Experience with estimating and construction management software platforms What This Role Offers: - Senior leadership position with strong visibility and influence - Opportunity to shape preconstruction strategy and company profitability - Collaborative, growth-oriented culture - Long-term career advancement potential - Competitive compensation and benefits package This is a confidential opportunity for a senior construction professional ready to take ownership of preconstruction operations while helping drive company growth and project success.
