Wepartner with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, healthcare, food andbeverage producers, automotive and tooling innovators, and both contractresearch organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)to keep their operations running at peak performance. - - About the Role: - - As a CBRE - Laboratory Instrument Services LIS Supervisor, you will calibrate, maintain,and complete the major repairs of scientific instrumentation while providingin-house technical training across the CBRE GWS and Full Spectrum Groupdivisions. This job ispart of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsiblefor technical maintenance services in critical client environments. - - What You’ll Do: - - This job willhave shared responsibilities across CBRE GWS and Full Spectrum Group. With 75%of time dedicated to the Client onsite and 25% dedicated to supporting Full. Spectrum Group remotely or onsite as needed. Client siteresponsibilities: Perform routinemaintenance, repair, and calibration on a variety of laboratory equipment,including HPLC/ UPLC systems, LCMS systems, gas chromatographs, incubators,centrifuge, and microscope. Serve asprimary on-site Agilent technical resource for Client operations Operate testequipment. This includes multimeters, temperature standards, optical standardsand liquid flow meters. Coordinate theremoval of equipment requiring extensive repairs during scheduled maintenanceperiods. Troubleshoot,service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work. Record andreport abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. Ifneeded, start corrective action and documentation. Review anddocument daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and otherwork performed. Coordinate withexternal contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements. Communicatewith customer staff and outside contractors about the calibration, repair, andoperation of equipment. Locate partsources, estimate costs, and prepare requisitions. Trackinstrument and part reliability; make alternate service, supplier, and partsrecommendations. Oversee thedevelopment of equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures. Have someknowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applyingthem. Lead by exampleand model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Impact thequality of own work. Work withinstandardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Exchangestraightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding. Additional Full. Spectrum Group responsibilities: Mentor CBR - Efield engineers across current client sites and future sites Conductstructured, week-based on-site training blocks focused on LC/ LCMS, TOF, andadvanced systems Provideescalation support and specialist assistance for planned and unplanned serviceevents Supportcapability buildout at emerging accounts This role mayrequire up to 25% domestic travel. - - What You’ll. Need: - - High School. Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will beconsidered. Must have appropriate license or certification where required bylaw. Requiresknowledge, training, and experience related to analytical instrumentation toinclude HPLC/ UPLC systems, gas chromatographs, LCMS systems Anunderstanding and ability to resolve software issues as it relates tocooperation between different manufacturers’ systems and client systems Meet thephysical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more. Ability to useexisting procedures to solve standard problems. Experience withanalyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc. Organizationalskills with a strong inquisitive mindset. - -
