We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role. Across our global Neuroscience organization, we advance care for some of medicine’s most complex neurological and spinal conditions. By combining innovative technology, data-driven insights, and deep clinical expertise, we partner with physicians and health systems to improve how patients are treated and supported throughout their care journey. Our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) Operating Unit develops and delivers an integrated ecosystem of spinal implants, navigation and robotic guidance systems, advanced imaging, and data-driven planning tools for complex spine and cranial procedures. Platforms such as Ai. BLE™ connect these technologies to enhance surgical precision, streamline workflows, and support improved patient outcomes across the globe. The CST Clinical Director is responsible for leading the US CST Clinical organization. This involves developing processes to recruit, hire, train, and nurture employees to possess superior knowledge of Medtronic’s Stealth Axis navigation and robotic solutions, O-Arm imaging, procedural solutions, service solutions, and service support. This leader’s organization is responsible for the ongoing clinical support of our CST capital and service business, as well as the support of growth in enabling technology supported procedural solutions. Duties include but are not limited to planning, developing, and organizing team strategies, execution plans, and performance management as they relate to account strategies. This is a field based position that will require up to 75% travel. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:- Drives consistency in our approach to advancing Medtronic technology-enabled procedures through CST with Medtronic’s Navigation and Stealth Axis technologies.- Communicates and reinforces corporate Mission, CST strategy, and key initiatives, goals, and activities.- Ensures team members complete comprehensive field training initiatives to increase overall navigation, imaging, and robotics competencies.- Determines overall direction for strategic accounts in alignment with Stealth Axis account strategies.- Oversees the creation of solutions, proposals, and presentations for our customers.- Attends surgical cases, trains surgeons, and manages the ongoing sale of implant business components.- Leverages relationships and insights to convert business unit-specific opportunities into CST opportunities that deliver incremental value to both Medtronic and the customer.- Identifies and acts upon cross-business, cross-functional opportunities and issues related to targeted account growth.- Establishes and supports Medtronic’s executive-level relationships with targeted accounts at the physician and C-Suite level.- Develops ongoing (vs. transactional) peer relationships with senior healthcare executives in targeted accounts.- Coordinates executive-level Medtronic activities, relationships, and transactions within targeted accounts.- Works to maintain a strong, diverse personnel “bench” of candidates for future hiring opportunities.- Addresses development opportunities through coaching and executing specific measurable projects.- Drives awareness of market and competitive conditions for strategic planning. To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your applicant profile. Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience with 7 years of managerial experience; or. Advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experience with 7 years of managerial experience. Ability to cultivate and leverage physician/executive-level relationships with both customers and Medtronic personnel to achieve business objectives.
