This role leads major product initiatives, including the design and execution of new products and product enhancements, while ensuring compliance adherence. This role serves as product SME, and partners with multiple functional teams to shape strategy, drive process improvements, guide cross functional decision making, and mentor junior team members. Job Description Responsibilities. Lead large product initiatives or enhancements. Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence, Pricing, and other internal stakeholders to review industry trends, data. Partner with functional areas to negotiate needs and facilitate product decisions. Manage the development of product specs, guides, issue logs etc., and/or assist with gathering and documenting business requirements. Drive strategic process improvements and automation efforts. Lead and/or oversee discussions to define product features, competitiveness, milestone dates, etc. act as Product SME as needed. Responsible for ongoing Product adherence to Regulatory and Compliance updates. Mentor Junior team members. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams. Qualifications. Bachelor degree, or equivalent 5 Years experience in Financial Services/ Insurance. Expertise in life insurance product line and solid understanding of additional product lines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate with audiences of all levels and collaborate with functional areas. Analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail. In depth understanding of systems that support at least one insurance/annuity product line with impacts across multiple functional areas. Ability to work independently. Comfortable making independent decisions related to job function. Preferred Qualifications. Leadership and stakeholder management. Strategic planning and change management. Industry specific expertise (finance, insurance, etc.)Experience managing a team. Working Conditions. Hybrid Office environment. Travel (Occasional >10%) - may travel for internal meetings. The Salary for this position generally ranges between $95,000-$110,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 15% based on the Company Bonus Plan/ Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
