Be the backbone of the Major’s Secretary Department by preparing correspondence, memorandums, and typing essential forms and documents. Play a crucial role in the Inmate Records area by maintaining inmate files, conducting audits on new inmates, and preparing necessary forms. Showcase your organizational skills by inputting data into the CDC database, retrieving and printing information, and maintaining classification documentation. Keep the department running smoothly by receiving, date stamping, sorting and distributing mail, as well as handling, copying scanning, and faxing of documents. Provide top-notch customer service by answering phone calls professionally, assisting inmate families, and taking on special projects and other clerical duties as assigned.
