Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Develops, curriculum, certification standards, operations documentation and delivers training to the operations personnel. Experience: 3 years of experience in MILSATCOM operations, mission planning, aerospace training, or a related military space domain. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of RF communications, satellite links, transponder loading, and military communication architectures. System Familiarity: Operational knowledge of key MILSATCOM systems. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 2 years of Engineering or operational training experience. Must be willing to travel domestically as needed. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/ Experience):Experienced, Level 3: 5 years of related work experience. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Experience with Agile processes. Possess basic orbital dynamics. RF communications, satellite links, transponder loading, and military communication architectures. Experience with Satellite Bus and Payload Resource Management. Familiarity with System Integration and Test processes and execution. System Familiarity: Operational knowledge of key MILSATCOM systems.
