Caterpillar is hiring for a Development Research Technician in Sanford, NC. In this role, you will be an integral part of validating designs and software alongside the engineering community as we work to produce quality machines and work tools and resolve issues. And assist engineers in conducting technical investigations of current and future product, components, materials and processes both in laboratory and field environments. Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production. Top Candidates for this position may also have:Heavy machinery experience. Experience in a mechanical aptitude. Experience in technically complex tear downs and assembly of components and equipment.
