At Ascentium Capital, the Titling Specialist is responsible for title estimates, Vin searches, preparing title packages for DMV’s or title agencies, and following up on post-closing items and proper stacking of Loan/ Lease files as well as the day to day support of the entire Loan/ Lease Closing department (Documentation, Audit and Funding). We strive to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to our customers' businesses. Primary Responsibilities. Conducts Verbal Verifications on title estimates with customers. Conducts Vin searches when necessary. Calls DMV’s to get more information on a State. Handles the scanning of documents. Retrieves, scans, and delivers mail. Handles UPS shipments when necessary. Receives and distributes packages. Maintains reports and follows up on title processing. Calls customers to inquire about the status of a title. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements. High School Diploma or GED - One (1) year of customer service experience. Skills and Competencies. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to learn additional systems as needed. Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts. Ability to work in a team environment when applicable. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills. Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills. Strong work ethic and self-motivation. Additional Responsibilities. Accurately calculate in-house estimates to include: state/county fees, registration fees, title fees and sales tax/applicable state taxes for all jurisdictions. Apply strong mathematical skills to perform precise calculations and ensure financial accuracy. Conduct thorough research across all states and counties to determine title, tax, registration, and DMV requirements. Additional Skills and Competencies. Demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing responsibilities efficiently and meeting deadlines. Maintain exceptional attention to detail by reviewing documents and verifying accuracy and compliance. Adaptability to manage and navigate to evolving procedures and company policies. Outstanding proof-reading skills. Possesses basic understanding of the flow of title ownership. Strong ability to manage and resolve escalated issues effectively and professionally. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or fraudulent indicators in documentation. Position Type. Full time. Compensation Details. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target:Minimum:$41,902.50 USD - Median:$49,883.40 USD - Incentive Pay Plans:This job is not incentive eligible.
