Strategic Leadership & Team Development: Strategy & Vision: Refine and execute a multi-year Global Data & Analytics strategy that enables Hill’s wellness and therapeutic brand growth plans. SME Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing global team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Data Science and Business Analytics, fostering a culture of curiosity, agility and future-thinking Cultural Catalyst: Champion data literacy across the organization, evolving the business from static reporting to guided, data-driven decision support. Collaboration & Partnerships GIT Relationship: Act as the primary strategic partner to Global Information Technology (GIT) regarding Data Engineering, ensuring technical architecture supports analytical scale. Enterprise Synergy: Liaise with Enterprise Global Data & Analytics (GDA) to ensure collaboration, sharing of best practices, adoption and alignment with corporate standards. Business Integration: Partner closely with Division and Regional Commercial Leaders to embed analytics into annual business plans and commercial negotiations Execution & Advanced Analytics AI & Machine Learning: Advance the use of predictive analytics and AI to unlock commercial growth, including analysis like price elasticity modeling, promotion forecasting, and retail & media execution optimization. This will include both implementing and deploying enterprise scaled solutions, as well as creating and scaling solutions bespoke to Hill’s. Value Creation: Measure and track business impact of analytics initiatives, in terms of revenue growth, ROI, cost savings, efficiencies and/or adoption Data Partnerships: Identify and secure local and global data partnerships to drive business growth with veterinary professionals and consumers. Data Products: Leverage enterprise scaled data products and build new data products specific to Hill’s (in partnership with GIT), ensuring that analytics and AI solutions are fueled by a single source of truth. Lead the end-to-end delivery of data products, ensuring they are designed for scalability, reuse, and measurable ROI. Governance & Integrity: Drive compliance of data governance practices that ensure data quality, compliance, and ethical AI use. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors and/or Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative 15 years of progressive experience working with data and advanced analytics. Proven experience as part of a leadership team with a track record of managing large, technical teams of Data Scientists and Analysts. Demonstrated ability to work closely with both Business and IT teams, acting as a translator between technical capabilities and strategic needs. Deep understanding of Cloud platforms, AI/ ML enablement, and Data Engineering. Strong understanding of P&L, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and retail performance Proficiency in demand forecasting, scenario simulation, and financial modeling. Experience in product-centric delivery and iterative development PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Masters or PhD Expreience i. N CPG, Healthcare or Pet Nutrition with a deep understanding of retail/professional ecosystems (eg: Niesel IQ, CRM, POS) TRAVEL REQUIRED: 20 - 25% Compensation and Benefits. Salary Range $270,000.00 - $298,000.00 USD - Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
