The Technician FSQ Lead provides on\u 2011 shift leadership for the FSQ Technician team and ensures all quality, food safety, and documentation standards are met. This role performs and verifies quality checks, supports investigations, manages holds and releases, and maintains accurate records to uphold McCain\u 2019 s quality expectations.\u 00 A 0 What you\u 2019 ll be doing. Leading FSQ Technicians on the assigned shift and ensuring proper coverage. Performing and verifying daily floor quality checks and documentation. Releasing or holding finished product and reporting out\u 2011 of\u 2011 spec materials. Supporting investigations for holds, complaints, and improvement projects. Ensuring GM - Ps, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are maintained. If applicable (Lab):Conducting routine lab testing following GLP and QMS requirements. Performing plating, swabbing, calibrations, and ingredient/packaging tests. Maintaining accurate lab records and supporting KPI improvements. Calibrating lab equipment per internal control plans. Supporting sample shipments and PTO coverage as needed.\u 00 A 0 What you\u 2019 ll need to be successful. Associate degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field. Preferably 1 year of food manufacturing or lab experience (internships considered). Strong leadership qualities with initiative and attention to detail. Understanding of food safety, HACCP, statistics, and basic food science.
