Review and interpreted medical images to determine patient status and future medical care (20%)Determine exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians (20%)Administer trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images (10%)Perform minimally invasive surgical techniques such as embolization, angioplasty and ablation with image guidance (10%)Work with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses and Radiology Technicians to administer treatment and manage pain (10%)Monitor patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary (10%)Create a radiation treatment plan for patients with cancer (10%)Manage radiation side effects in cancer patients (10%)Education:Doctorate Degree Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited school of medicine Required.
