Call required every 4th weekend and 1 day a week (or as needed)Lead with purpose. Deliver with precision. Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH) is looking for a dynamic and experienced Supervisor of Interventional Radiology to join our Radiology Department. This critical leadership role offers the opportunity to combine advanced clinical skills with operational oversight, helping deliver exceptional care and cutting-edge procedures in a fast-paced environment. As Supervisor, you will play a dual role: ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Interventional Radiology department and actively participating in performing interventional and diagnostic procedures. You will collaborate closely with Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:Department Leadership & Administration. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage within budgeted FTEs. Conduct performance evaluations and oversee onboarding and training of new staff. Manage payroll and timekeeping via Kronos system. Monitor supply inventory and ensure proper equipment maintenance. Schedule and coordinate service calls for imaging equipment when needed. Facilitate regular staff meetings and handle service issues or patient concerns promptly. Clinical & Technical Oversight. Assist in performing interventional and minimally invasive procedures. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including proper use of radiation shielding and safety equipment. Maintain image quality and proper documentation for physician interpretation. Administer IV contrast agents per protocol and monitor for patient reactions. Ensure proper documentation including patient consents and questionnaires. Technology & Quality Management. Demonstrate proficiency in RIS and PACS systems. Ensure technologists are trained in all relevant equipment and imaging protocols. Evaluate department workflows for efficiency and patient satisfaction. Qualifications:Required:Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program (AMA-approved)ARRT(R) certification. State of NH Medical Imaging License. Minimum of 3 years of radiology experience. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory capabilities. Strong knowledge of radiology workflows and imaging systems (RIS, PACS)Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in a related field. ARRT(VI) certification or equivalent experience in Interventional Radiology 1–2 years of hands-on interventional radiology experience.
