The Associate Director provides critical administrative, analytical, strategic, and communications support to advance partnerships between the Advancement Office and campus partners. Working closely with the AVP of Advancement for Centers, Institutes, and Special Projects, this role supports cross-functional fundraising initiatives by developing and analyzing data and project information, coordinating pipeline and engagement efforts, and creating compelling communications materials. The Associate Director also facilitates faculty and leadership engagement through centers/institutes, supports board development and volunteer groups, and strengthens internal resources to help frontline fundraisers effectively cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. Description Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelor's degree Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities - Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience - 5 or more years of experience in fund-raising, stewardship, marketing, journalism, or related fields - Adept at content strategy and creation; excellent written communication skills - Experience in a complex college, university, or other organization is desirable - Superior organizational, planning, and project management skills - Able to successfully manage a high-volume workload and competing priorities - Familiarity with and comfort with learning new software systems - Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; strong computer literacy - Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing); able to think strategically and operationally - Collaborative team player who will pitch in when and where needed to get the job done - Excellent interpersonal skills - High tolerance for ambiguity and changing priorities - Experience using SharePoint software; use of content management systems, technically savvy - Demonstrated initiative and creative energy - Ability to apply the guiding principles of Development Preferred Qualifications Department Contact for Recruitment Inquiries Lesa Knapp Department Contact Phone Number 603-646-1317 Department Contact for Cover Letter and Title Lesa Knapp, Assistant Vice President for Advancement Administration Department Contact's Phone Number 603-646-1317
