Proactively engage in comprehensive case management for students referred by campus alerts or those that have otherwise been identified at risk through data and analytics. Student circumstances may include but are not limited to concerns regarding academics, behavioral concerns, health concerns, financial matters, food insecurity and other complex situations. Comprehensive case management includes maintaining a student case load in which collection, evaluation and recording of all facts pertaining to referred students occurs in appropriate databases. This role will have specific responsibilities for At Promise Students. Responsibilities will include supporting these students as they are involved in a number of intervention programs including but not limited to First Steps, Smooth Transitions and Arrupe Leaders. The CM for this area will have office hours set weekly to serve students in the Thrive Center. Coordinate outreach and strategically and regularly communicate with students on caseload. Collaborate with on and off campus partners to formulate intervention plans and expedite resolution of problems for student success; facilitate and consult on meetings with students, faculty, staff and family members or guardians on topics including but not limited to concerning behavior, individual student support plans and resources, University/community procedures, processes and follow up. Assist in process of well-checks as needed. Stay abreast of research on support for and academic and personal needs of students and especially for those at-risk for leaving the University. Serve as an advocate for students while motivating and empowering students to make informed decisions that positively influence personal and academic success. JOB REQUIREMENTS:Required Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Education, Administration or related field At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities. Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations. Develops detailed project schedules including tasks, accountabilities and deadlines. Anticipate problems that may impede work. Communicates changes and progress. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
