Edit manuscripts for a robust list including storybooks, chapter books, beginning readers, coloring and activity, educational, non-fiction, and novelty titles Acquire new projects and shape editorial strategy for both vertical and licensed titles Work with art department to review sketches, final art, and cover design Manage multiple projects and meet ambitious deadlines Negotiate with authors, illustrators, and agents Oversee title P&Ls Cultivate, foster, and maintain relationships with licensees and internal stakeholders Interact with TV, film, franchise, animation, consumer products, and brand teams Review marketing and publicity materials In-house writing Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Minimum 5 yrs publishing experience in publishing Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Knowledge with Adobe Strong P&L management skills Remarkable attention to detail and grammar Domestic and international travel may be required Additional Qualifications Children’s publishing is preferred Photoshop and Illustrator preferred Paramount Skydance Corporation (NASDAQ: PSKY) is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates premium content and experiences for audiences worldwide.
