Design and deliver trainings to school and LEA personnel to build capacity for multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) implementation and to improve student outcomes. Trainings are delivered through multiple media and formats (e.g., online modules, webinars, face-to-face) and address a number of MTSS related topics (e.g., data-based problem solving, implementation fidelity, developing consensus for implementation, response to intervention). Plan for and deliver technical assistance to school and LEA personnel to build capacity for MTSS implementation. Regional Coordinators use data and information to plan for and evaluate the technical assistance provided to school and LEA personnel. Planning for, delivery of, and monitoring of technical assistance occurs collaboratively with school, LEA, and state personnel, and is provided through multiple media and formats (e.g., online webinars, face-to-face). Design, revise and disseminate products that provide MTSS information and resources to stakeholders. Products include printed and online materials (e.g., modules, fact sheets, tools, worksheets) disseminated to school, LEA, and state personnel as well as parents and other partners. Participate on taskforces and workgroups responsible for monitoring and supporting best practices to improve the outcomes of students, with an emphasis on those with disabilities. Responsibilities include participating in face-to-face, phone, and virtual meetings with state and LEA personnel to plan for and evaluate services to improve outcomes for all students. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Adult Education, or equivalent field with one year of experience in a professional training position; or a Master's degree in the same field. Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree. - Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate ( Session/ Bill/2023/1310) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S. - SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements - A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed: - (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree; - (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree; - (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree; - (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or - (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree - Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment. - Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310. Preferred Qualifications:Certified School Psychologist or experience supporting the use of student response to intervention data as part of a full and individual evaluation for exceptional student education. A Master's degree or higher in school psychology, educational, leadership or related area. Five years' experience in facilitating multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) implementation at the school and/or district level. Experience in a leadership role in facilitating MTSS implementation. Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating professional learning for educators implementing MTSS. Requirements: Criminal History Background Check - Level 1
