Supervising union mechanical and electrical craft within the department, acting as a resource for maintenance guidance to craft and other manufacturing personnel. Providing technical maintenance support for assigned area. Executing planned and unplanned work to meet department goals. Coordinate repairs with customers to ensure minimal equipment downtime. Following-up on equipment issues, and developing technical problem-solving solutions. Providing on-call response to remedy critical maintenance situations. Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods, working hand in hand with craft employees. Adhering to Arconic Environmental, Health & Safety, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies. Assuming other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1 years of maintenance supervisory experience. Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong maintenance background with 2-4 years of hands-on mechanical and or electrical experience in an industrial environment. Preferred Qualifications Associates or BS degree in a technical field. Previous work experience in a similar role 5 years heavy industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
