Process premium billings. Produce accurate and timely billings in several billing applications. Process interim, revised interim, finals, and revised final billings. Calculate audit billings manually when necessary for accuracy. Provides premium billing services to customers. Reviews and responds to emails received by department group email account. Provides research on payroll reporting status, payments, cancellation/reinstatement status etc. Handles customers calls from agents and policyholders. Assists with reporting payroll and processing payments. References several systems to research policy information. Updates email contact and coordinates address changes. Performs departmental administrative tasks. Process letters, emails, and other items as requested. Process cancellations and reinstatements notices as required. Manage data entry input in several applications making sure they are current and accurate. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment in customer service and/or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - Knowledge of basic math and accounting concepts is required. Working knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word preferred. Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions in standard situations. Must be Customer service oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Works well independently and as part of a team. Ability to effectively present information to policyholders, agents, and internal parties.
