Key member of team that supports the Supply Chain functions of Production Planning, Scheduling, and Forecasting for all Detroit Powersystems components as well as interfacing with the aggregate customer and global network system. This position will manage projects that help steer the team strategy and culture. This includes leading the digitalization efforts to continuously improve on Supply Chain functions, as well as developing and overseeing cost reduction efforts and other miscellaneous projects. Critical contributor and development of the culture and collaboration with customer (TN), global and internal Detroit stakeholders. Posting Information. Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000 – $133,000 USD - Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. What You Drive At DTNA - Supports Forecasting, Planning, Network and Scheduling teams by steering and managing the execution of local Supply Chain strategy and culture. Drives enhancement of communication and collaboration with TN colleagues and global Network counterparts. Leads specific USMCA, tariff mitigation, and other Customs/ Trade Compliance efforts within the Supply Chain team. Develop digital tools and systems support for process and efficiency improvements. Includes incorporating latest AI and Machine Learning trends. Leads projects and strategy within the team to support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities. Drive change and improvement by collecting and analyzing available data. Assists in the planning and scheduling of the production requirements for Detroit engines, axles, transmissions and e-components. Development and updating of team KPI's and metrics to drive superior performance and results. Recommend updates to production plan and forecasting based on research of market trends and latest demand movement. Primary cross-functional interface to connect with Vendor Scheduling, Transportation, and Launch & Change Mgmt teams. Knowledge You Should Bring. Requires a Bachelors degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree 5 years in Supply Chain, Operations or extended Operations experience 2 years of project management experience and strong analytical skills, experience working in a matrixed global organization with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of current Trade Compliance regulations (USMCA, tariffs, customs and border)Excellent track record in communicating verbally and in writing at all levels, both internally and with suppliers. Strong system and digital skills, including Microsoft and other ERP system proficiency. Exceptional Candidates Might Have. Understanding of Class 6 - 8 truck market and trends.
