URW is seeking a strategic, innovative, collaborative Manager of Workplace Experience, responsible for the L. A. Corporate Office. You will possess the passion to go the extra mile with strong ethics aimed to build trust and transparency. Using the latest business trends to manage resources, services and processes you will create an environment and experience that aligns with URW’s objectives. This role is also responsible for ensuring an efficient and safe working environment. In This Role, Your Main Missions Are. Manage and maintains the aesthetics of the workplace. Manage office space planning, including partnering with IT and HR on optimizing the workplace experience. Includes overseeing external day porter team. Support procurement needs for our office, including thorough review of all contracts, work orders, and purchase agreements. Ensure all procurement, contracts and agreements are compliant with current policies. Lead, support and manage vendor negotiations. Preparation and oversight of department contracts, to include bid-summaries, memos, and contract execution. Reviews expenses regularly, including auditing contracts to identify efficiency and cost saving opportunities, takes initiative to prepare and present solutions that provide equitable solutions for the organization. Partner with SVP of People and the Finance team to support the budget/ forecasting process. Primary point of contact with building management including managing relationships and monitoring critical information. Manage and ensure compliance in all aspects of workplace health and safety, including emergency procedures and situations. Partner with the People team on policies in this area. Play a key role planning and executing a range of business activities in support of employees, including planning for various social and business-related events and coordinate cross-functional input on these events. Maintain adherence to Workplace Policies & Procedures, including the development of additional policies relevant to the department. Foster a sense of community within the workplace through daily interactions with all levels of employees. What We Are Looking For. You. . . Bachelor degree in business management or related field 5 years of Workplace and/or Facilities Management. Relies on experience, judgement, analysis, and wisdom to provide direction that keeps projects in motion. Cost-conscious and analytical. Vendor negotiating experience in a cost-conscious environment. Hands-on project management experience. Strong written and verbal/consultative skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflict. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust. Ability to consult, respond to inquiries and influence a wide variety of key stakeholders. Creative and strategic problem-solving skills. Ability to execute against multiple high priority projects through exceptional organizational, prioritization and effective time/project management skills. Compensation. Exempt$78,000 - $105,000 per year Discretionary Annual Bonus. What is important to us.
