Federal Ammunition is seeking Assemblers who will work safely and maintain all quality standards while achieving production levels at or above the posted goal; thereby ensuring customers receive quality products when they want them at a competitive price. This position reports to the Factory Operations Supervisor and is based out of our Anoka Location. Shift Information: Shift Q: 7 pm-7 am, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday(Training the first few weeks may be on another shift)Compensation: $20.80/hour plus applicable shift differential with first 90 day increase to $23.62 and additional increases every 90 days based on performance, up to $26.49 What you’ll do: Operate production machines according to job break down tasks. Assemble and handle ammunition components and products. Fill out paperwork. Package loaded rounds. Assist team with changeovers. Safety - Follow all rules and procedures; keep area neat and orderly; report all existing or potential safety hazards/issues to leadership immediately. Utilize Safety Observation system. Environmental/hazardous waste - Understand and follow all procedures. Quality - Understand all product quality requirements and procedures, insure they are met. Notify adjuster or leadership of excessive defective levels. Understand how defects can impact final customers including Law Enforcement and Military. Production/ Delivery - Achieve or exceed the posted production goals to ensure on-time delivery to internal and external customers. Teamwork - Be an effective team member. Continuous Improvement - Contribute your ideas through the Kaizen card process. Work the hours scheduled for the assigned shift plus overtime as needed. Follow 5 S and clean up protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience you bring: ?High School Diploma or GED.18 years of age or older. Must have demonstrated strong organizational skills and strong work ethic. Must be able to work effectively within a team of up to 8 people. Must be able to work 12 hours on assigned shift. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to learn to use computers and/or precision measuring devices within 30 days. Ability to work independently without continual supervision. You might have: Experience working in a manufacturing environment (high volume preferred.)Two-year Technical Degree in Manufacturing.
