Associate, Compensation Management & Accounting. The Associate, Compensation Management & Accounting sits within HR and will support the HR Compensation Management team with a strong focus on partnering with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and external providers to ensure complete, accurate, and timely recording of compensation-related transactions, compliance with applicable accounting guidance, and strong support for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Key Responsibilities. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for compensation, bonus, commission, and benefits. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules for compensation-related balances. Partner with Payroll and HR to validate employee compensation data, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support internal and external audit requests by organizing documentation and explaining accounting support for key balances and processes. Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and documentation for compensation accounting workflows. Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party administrators to ensure accurate data flow and reporting. Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects to support the broader controllership and finance organization. Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . years of accounting, compensation accounting, payroll accounting, or financial reporting experience. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and close processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with Workday, equity and compensation administration systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions. The expected base salary ranges from $90,000.00. - $110,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
