Reporting Relationship:Operations Area Manager. Location/ Schedule:On-campus. Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm What you will do:Assists the Trades Technicians with basic tasks such as replacing standard plumbing parts, repairing wall damage, hanging bulletin boards and signage, painting drywall, replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing broken windows. Provides general labor including dismantling, moving, and reassembling furniture, and moving construction supplies and equipment between work sites. Performs general groundskeeping work on campus grounds such as mowing grass, trimming trees and shrubs, weeding, preparing seed beds, mulching, leaf removal, and shoveling snow. Assists Custodians including spot cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, and stripping and waxing floors. Ability to use small tools and repair small equipment. High school diploma or GED - Up to 1 year of physical labor or maintenance experience. Valid Driver's License. Preferred, But Not Required 2 years of physical labor or maintenance experience Physical requirements:Ability to lift over 50 pounds; Crouching; Reaching overhead; Pulling/ Pushing, Bending, Shoveling, Stooping; Climbing stairs/ladders; Kneeling/squatting; Lifting up to 50 pounds. Job Exempt:No. Salary Range:16.00-18.15 The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
