Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions. Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to restore operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals. Ensures the timely and authorized movement of equipment. Refuels equipment as required. Tracks and accounts for all Fuel and Inspection Bay inventory. Tractor mechanic, diesel mechanic, HVAC, lube technician or automotive technician experience would be great, but not needed. We are committed to training you if you have no experience. This position requires constant standing; frequent walking, head turning, stooping, squatting, reaching and grasping. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 105 lbs and also push and pull up to 115 lbs. Steel toed footwear, and safety glasses are required in the shop. Working Environment. Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.
