We are hiring coaches for indoor and outdoor youth sports programs. No prior coaching experience required - if you have a passion for sports of any sort, we will help you be successful! We need coaches for basketball, football, ninja obstacle course classes, volleyball, t-ball, and cross country. We are committed to creating and sustaining a culture that balances play, love of sport, healthy competition, skill-building, and sportsmanship. All coaches are supported and management is focused on creating an environment based on respect and fun. Coaches will consistently be trained and evaluated to improve their skillset. Plan, organize, and lead practices and training sessions appropriate for the age and skill level of participants. Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and rules of the sport. Emphasize teamwork, respect, effort, and sportsmanship. Develop game strategies and lineups to ensure fair play and player development. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and games. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and program administrators. Maintain and manage equipment and facilities in good condition. Encourage positive behavior and serve as a role model for young athletes. Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback. Follow organizational policies and league rules. Job Qualifications Preferred candidates would be experienced at teaching youth ages 1.5-16the basic skills, rules, and fun-natured culture of recreational learn-to-play sports; however, if you have a strong athletic background, we are willing to train the right people. Minimum hiring age: 15 years old. Prior coaching or playing experience in the relevant sport (preferred). Knowledge of youth development principles and age-appropriate coaching methods. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Education and Experience No specific education requirements; all experience levels welcome. Work Environment Physical Activities. Ability to work most of the day on your feet, performing both active supervision and hands-on tasks. Work Environment. Practices and games may occur during evenings and weekends. Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, snow, and humidity.
