This classification helps and assists experienced employees in performance of work. They perform duties which do not require any particular skill. Works under the direction of the Maintenance Leader. Accountabilities: Performs unskilled work and assists skilled employees. Functions in support of other classifications and their respective accountability. Performs associated responsibilities according to the rules contained in the safe work practices handbook and the Memorandum of Agreement. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/ GED Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL) Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Class A Commercial Driver License Must be able to successfully pass an Occupational Vision Test Must be able to pass Constr and Skilled Trades Test - CAST Must be physically able to perform all assigned tasks Must be able to work in inclement weather, direct sunlight, and during nighttime hours Must be able to follow instructions to ensure personal, crew and public safety Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval Preferred Qualifications Successful completion of a pre-apprenticeship program Successful completion of climbing school Prior work experience in the construction field Veteran Status NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
