As a Security Officer Unarmed Evening Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/ Media/ Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.42 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed conditions and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in a technology-focused location, following site protocols for entry, escort requirements, and/or credential verification. Support communication with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
