Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor and staff traffic flow, helping to support a professional environment while following post orders and client-directed protocols. Assist with de-escalation efforts and communication during medical, behavioral, and/or facility-related events, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate. Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals when required. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
