The Staff Assistant III reports to the Program Director of Global Learning in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and provides administrative, operational, and logistical support for Global Learning programs and international experiences. This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Global Learning initiatives through marketing and promotional efforts, student engagement support, program logistics, financial and travel-related processes, program documentation, and coordination of program materials and resources. Responsibilities Performs general office duties including answering phones, data entry, coordinating meetings, distributing mail, and maintaining office supplies. Greets and directs visitors to the Global Learning office and assists students, faculty, and staff with program-related questions and resources. Assists with maintaining program records, participant information, and organizational systems, including passport and visa tracking, passenger lists, and flight itineraries. Provides administrative support for financial and travel-related processes, including submission of travel authorizations, travel reimbursements, purchasing card (P-card) approvals, and related documentation. Supports marketing, and promotional efforts for Global programs through presentations, newsletters, study abroad fairs, tabling events, information sessions, and other outreach activities. Assists with program recruitment by supporting Global Ambassadors/student employees through classroom presentation coordination and training support. Provides administrative and logistical support for Global Learning programs, including logistical research, preparation of program materials, Canvas course support, meet-and-greet coordination, Field Guides/ Travefy content updates, and coordination of host gifts. Assists with post-program evaluation and reporting processes, including data collection and organization of participant feedback. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Four years of experience; or an associate degree/technical training plus two years of experience; or a bachelor's degree is required. Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Banner, Salesforce, Canvas, and other USU software systems. Familiarity with USU policies and procedures. International work or education experience. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
