Greets all patients in to the hospital following department's policies and procedures. - Checks to make sure that patient has physician's order, insurance card(s) and picture identification. - Demonstrates respect and cooperation in all staff relationships, and a genuine willingness to prevent or resolve inter-personal conflicts. - Responds appropriately to questions received from the client and uses communication techniques to ascertain that the client understands instructions. - Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
