Provides support during urodynamics testing. Performs outpatient urology clinic procedures such as foley catheter placements, suprapubic catheter exchanges, and bladder instillations. Administers specialty medications. Educates patients and their families on urologic symptom management, pre-operative teaching, and post-operative care. Answers patient calls and e. Care messages. Follows up on medical records and test results. Assists with coordination of care and continuity of care process as part of the healthcare team. REQUIREMENTS 2 years of recent nursing work experience in a hospital or an outpatient clinic. Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.
