Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $25.79 - $26.57 hourly. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Qualifications. Minimum Education: Completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent preparation and/or experience required. High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. Minimum Experience: 1 year of prior acute care experience preferred or CNA or completion of first clinical course in RN/ LPN program. Completion of the Garnet Health Nursing Education program required if no experience. Required Certification/ Registration: CNA certificate preferred if experience is minimal. BLS certification current and ongoing. Internal Crisis Intervention training required. Physical Requirements:Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patient. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching. Ability to pass pre-hire physical assessment. (See attached). Working Conditions:Environmental Demands and Exposure to Hazards: Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated or ventilated facility. No routine exposure to hazards.
