We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing manufacturing organization. The Staff Accountant will support the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, inventory accounting, cost accounting support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Support inventory accounting, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation of inventory accounts Assist with cost accounting functions including labor, overhead allocation, and product costing analysis Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets Analyze manufacturing variances and provide explanations to management Prepare financial reports and schedules for internal management review Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Support internal audits and compliance reporting Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures Collaborate with operations and production departments to improve financial accuracy and reporting efficiency Participate in ERP system maintenance, reporting enhancements, and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments Understanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting principles Experience with ERP systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus Preferred Skills Experience with inventory and cost accounting Knowledge of manufacturing operations and production workflows Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Continuous improvement mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Bonus opportunity Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing organization Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing facility and may occasionally require time on the production floor to support inventory and operational accounting activities. #LI-SA 2 Work Arrangement : Onsite Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
