We are hiring for 2nd Shift Quality Control Technicians (2:00 pm-1:30 am or when production is done) to ensure we maintain Quality Above all Else in our Baltimore offices. Visually inspects products at various stages of production. Selects products for overall quality. Visually inspects packages for proper dates, codes, seals, and gas mixtures. Verifies correct net weight of product. Tests pickle solution and seasoning solutions for salt, PH, and specific gravity. Observes employees to ensure they are following good manufacturing practices (GM - Ps)Observes employees to ensure they are following “HACCP” critical control points. Records relevant information on food tags. Reviews hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) records for critical control points as it relates to how the product is cooked Secondary Functions:Follow safe work processes 70% standing, 30% sitting. Interacts with supervisors and co-workers regarding findings and recommendations. May lift up to 50 lbs. Works in cold environment (about 30 degrees)Use of both hands. Use of Microsoft Office Minimum Requirements Job Requirements:High school diploma: college degree preferred 1-2 years’ experience in Quality Control or Assurance. Understanding of OSHA and/or USDA desired. Experience in a meat production facility a plus
