The Staff Writer in the Executive Communications team assists the Director of Communications and the. President's speechwriter in crafting and delivering compelling written content that resonates with a widerange of audiences, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community supporters. This positionrequires a creative, detail-oriented writer who understands the importance of tone, voice, and accuracy. Conducts research and produces an array of content in both English and Spanish, such as talking points, remarks, internal memos, and various communications for executives and the university community. Collaborates closely with the Director of Communications and President's speechwriter to understand the specific needs for each assignment. Conducts research to ensure accuracy and relevancy of the content. Works with tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. Revises and edits drafts based on feedback from leaders and other stakeholders. Assists in maintaining the executive communication team's calendar and managing workflow. Performs other related duties as required or as directed.
