The Measurement Analyst role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of system-level measurement data. This position applies strong analytical judgment and business acumen to support effective measurement processes, financial accuracy, and operational decision-making. Resolve system generated exceptions on meters while learning about natural gas measurement. With the assistance of the field technicians and balance analysts, assure all missing data is collected or appropriately estimated to ensure completion of the records per contractual obligations or standards. Enter data into measurement system accurately from field activities and from third-party measurement. With the oversight of more senior process analysts and balance analysts, perform multi month checks (rollups) and volume statement reviews for accuracy and prepare SOX compliance documents. With the oversight of more senior process analysts and balance analysts, prepare appropriate documentation to support estimates or prior period adjustments that meet standards established for gas measurement. With the assistance of the field technicians, review documentation in Test-It and compare to historical and current information in Flow-Cal to assure gas measurement calculations and SOX data points are correctly captured. As knowledge increases, analyze measurement system process and initiate any necessary improvements to a senior member of the Measurement Group.
