In this role you will prioritize production work, maintain records, enter SAP transactions, and identify and resolve errors related to the production workflow. You may cross-train and assist in other department areas (e.g. pick lines, returns) during times of increased work volume. You will consistently operate within established attendance, safety, and electronic usage guidelines or policies. What you'll do:Enter production transactions in SAP including Work Order print/distribution, ordering product/components, Transfer Order creation/confirmation, Goods Issue, Reversal, and Receipt, bin deletion/creation Enter data into electronic forms (e.g. Coding Calculation form, Product Deviation form) Prioritize and organize Work Orders based on shipment/due dates and capacity Scan and file completed Work Orders or other necessary documentation Check product/component specifications in Optiva Generate and maintain SAP reports Identify issues with product quality, inventory availability, and timelines Connect with internal contacts to resolve issues Stay current with required training on area Work Instructions (W - Is) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Participate in daily stretching exercises, and complete cleaning assignments in area What you'll need:2-4 years in warehouse, receiving, and/or inventory, or similar position or specialization preferred. Required strong understanding of English and ability to follow all English written and verbal orders and instructions. Has basic knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the logistics and inventory management field, and the transportation industry. Able to collaborate with others in meeting production quotas. Flexible and able to adapt in a stressful production environment. Proficient in various software programs (i.e., SAP, Microsoft Word, MS Excel, Optiva) Able to cross-train and work in other department areas (e.g. shipping, picking, returns) Able to assist in answering questions. Able to operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed. Proficient in basic math. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple needs and issues. Professional communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to use office equipment (i.e., scanning utilities, Fax and copy machines, and phone system) Ability to understand, follow and implement all written and verbal directives and procedures. Good analytical, problems solving, and resolution skills required. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Duties and tasks are standardized, and Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
