NOW HIRING - Location: Swainsboro, GA - SelecSource seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support daily operations within our steel manufacturing facility. This position involves assisting with production processes, material handling, equipment cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and able to work effectively in an industrial setting. Key Responsibilities. Assist with loading, unloading, and moving steel materials throughout the facility. Operate basic hand tools and power equipment as trained. Support machine operators and production staff as needed. Clean work areas, machinery, and plant floors to maintain housekeeping standards. Inspect materials for visible defects or damage. Sort, stack, and organize steel products for shipment or processing. Follow plant safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Help with routine maintenance tasks under supervision. Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support plant operations. Qualifications. High school diploma preferred. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in hot or noisy environments. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts if needed. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Physical Requirements. Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials. Standing for extended periods.
