NOW HIRING - Location: Swainsboro, GA - SelecSource seeking a dependable and hardworking Welders to support daily operations within our steel manufacturing facility. This position involves assisting with production processes, material handling, equipment cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate should have Welding experience and be well spoken with a great attitude and solid work history. Must be qualified for the job position - at least 1 year recent experience preferred. Overtime is available and there is room for growth. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a great company! Key Responsibilities. Assist with loading, unloading, and moving steel materials throughout the facility. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Support machine operators and production staff as needed. Read and interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects. Clean work areas, machinery, and plant floors to maintain housekeeping standards. Inspect materials for visible defects or damage. Produce metal products according to employer specifications. Follow plant safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Help with routine maintenance tasks under supervision. Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support plant operations. Qualifications. High school diploma preferred. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in hot or noisy environments. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts if needed. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Physical Requirements. Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials. Standing for extended periods.
