Assist the department with various projects and tasks to gain practical workplace experience. Learn and support departmental initiatives across company locations and office sites. Observe and assist department staff as they perform their daily duties. Collaborate with the team to introduce and implement continuing education and training for current practices. Attend training sessions, team briefings, safety trainings, and operations meetings as appropriate. Propose modifications or revisions to current practices to improve effectiveness and align with organizational best practices. Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience (1-3 months related experience/training)Ability to speak, read, write, and interpret English fluently. Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to type by touch, operate a personal computer, and accurately record time worked using the timekeeping system. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, discounts, interest, commission, proportions, and percentages. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables where limited standardization exists; ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-form instructions. Ability to perform repetitive motions (arms, wrists, hands, fingers); sit and work at a computer terminal over 2/3 of the time; speak and listen in an office/telephone setting; occasionally lift up to 10-25 lbs. Ability to work in-person in an office/resort environment with occasional exposure to mountain town conditions; ability to work around pets and pet dander in pet-friendly areas. Takes initiative, pays attention to detail, gives and receives feedback, treats others with respect, supports team success, observes safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications. Experience speaking Spanish and working in a Spanish-speaking environment 3 months of related work experience or training (beyond education requirement)Proven ability to ask for clarification when necessary and share expertise with others. Demonstrated ability to build morale and contribute a positive team spirit.
